That is why, we have decided to talk to you about the differences in your flossing options, so you can better determine which floss is right for you.

There are two main types of floss: waxed and unwaxed floss.

Waxed floss:
Waxed floss has a waxy, slick coating that is great to use for people who have tight teeth or tight wedges in your teeth. The wax coating helps your wax slide gentler between your teeth to help remove the plaque and tartar buildup between them and along the gum line. This is a great choice for people who have limited space between teeth.

Unwaxed floss:
Unwaxed floss has a great fiber material that works excellent between the teeth and deep in the gum line. This is a fantastic option for people who have straighter teeth where the floss can go easily between your teeth and along your gum line.

One important factor to remember about dental floss, is no matter which floss you choose, having any floss to help remove the bacteria and food particles from your teeth and gums can help your smile stay healthy and strong. Any dental floss is better than no floss at all.
